Troubleshooting

Practical checks for sign-in links, missing alerts, forms and source records.

Most problems have a simple explanation. Try the relevant checks below and do not share a password, magic-link URL or full payment-card number with anyone.

  • Check the email address was entered correctly.
  • Look in spam or junk for a message from TabledHQ.
  • Wait before requesting another link: repeated requests are rate-limited for safety.
  • Open the newest link on the same device if possible. A link works once and expires after 15 minutes. If it has expired or already been used, ask for a new one from Sign in.
  • On a local development build, no email is sent; the repository documentation says to inspect the local mail output instead.

If the link says it has expired or has already been used, return to Sign in and request a new one.

An alert or digest is missing

Check Digest settings, the subject's follow status and whether the account is on the Free or Individual plan. A quiet period can mean no new matching record was recorded. Open the source link in a previous message before assuming that a record is missing.

TabledHQ isn't a live feed: see how up to date the information is.

A form says it has expired

Reload the page and submit the form again. This protects account actions with a signed CSRF token and an Origin check. If a form repeatedly returns an error, try a current browser without extensions that block form security checks.

A source record looks wrong

Open the original source URL and compare the title, date and text. Report the URL and a short description using the contact form; please don't send private account details. TabledHQ is an independent monitor, not the official source.

Still stuck?

Use the contact form with the page name, approximate time and a safe description of the problem. Never include passwords, sign-in links, payment-card details or another person's personal information.
