Hansard debates in TabledHQ
What Hansard content TabledHQ indexes, how often it is refreshed and how to check the official debate.
Hansard is the official report of debates in the UK Parliament. TabledHQ indexes Hansard so you can search debate sections alongside bills, questions, votes and other parliamentary records.
What is indexed
The Hansard source includes debate sections from Commons and Lords sitting days. Searchable records can include:
- the debate title and section;
- the debate date;
- the House and location where supplied;
- the contribution text held for the record;
- a link to the official Hansard source.
Hansard is being backfilled in stages, so the number of debate sections held changes over time. The Sources and licences page shows how many are stored right now, how that compares with the source's own total for the same dates, and when the source last updated. This is not a promise that every historic debate or every field is available in every result.
How often it is checked
New Hansard debate sections are checked in the live ingest cycle at least hourly. A source can publish or correct a debate after a check has run, so a short delay is possible. The source status page shows the last successful update and any recorded error.
The initial and historical coverage depends on the backfill window and the text available from the Hansard API. TabledHQ does not claim that a missing result means the official record does not exist.
Search Hansard
Open Search and choose Hansard in the source filter. Use a word, an exact phrase or Boolean terms such as AND, OR and NOT. The search window depends on your plan:
- Free: the last 30 days;
- Individual: the last 365 days.
Search results are snippets to help you decide what to open. Read the full official debate before relying on it.

Each Hansard result links back to its original source on the official Hansard website. TabledHQ is a discovery and monitoring layer; it does not replace the official record.
