Keyboard shortcuts and navigation

You can use TabledHQ with a keyboard. Move through links and controls with the standard browser keys, and use the page's visible labels to understand where you are.

The Skip to content link

The site provides a Skip to content link for keyboard users. Press Tab when the page loads until the link is focused, then press Enter. It moves focus to the main content area instead of making you tab through the header on every page.

Standard keyboard navigation

• Tab moves focus forwards through links, buttons and form controls.
• Shift + Tab moves focus backwards.
• Enter follows a focused link or activates a focused button.
• Space activates a focused button or checkbox.
• On a focused select, radio group or other native control, use the browser's standard keys to choose an option.

These are standard browser controls, not hidden TabledHQ commands. TabledHQ currently has no additional product-specific keyboard shortcut list.

Forms and search

Use Tab to reach the search field or form control, type your entry, and move to the labelled button. Press Enter when the focused control is a submit button or link. Error and status messages should remain visible in the page flow.

If a route does not behave as expected, record the page, browser, viewport and the action that failed. Do not include passwords, tokens, payment details or private records in a report.
