When your free trial ends

The free trial gives you everything in Individual for 7 days. You don't need a card to start, and nothing is charged unless you add one.

Before it ends

We email you 2 days before your trial ends, with the date it ends and the price you would pay. While the trial runs, a banner on your dashboard and on My topics shows when it ends, and turns amber in the last 2 days. You can check the end date at any time in Billing.

If you add a card

Adding a card ends the trial early and starts your Individual plan that day. Your first payment is taken straight away, and your monthly renewal date starts from then. If you qualify for the founding offer, that price is locked in when you subscribe.

If you don't add a card

Your account moves to the Free plan automatically when the trial ends. You don't need to cancel anything, and you won't be charged.

On Free:

• you keep up to 2 topics, 3 bills and 3 MPs or peers. The ones you set up first stay active
• anything over those limits is paused, not deleted, and comes back if you subscribe later
• digest and alert emails stop. New matches still show on your dashboard
• search covers the last 30 days

One trial per account

Each account can have one free trial. If you've already had one, you can still subscribe at any time from the pricing page.

Team trials

A Team trial works the same way for 7 days. If the owner doesn't add a card, the team ends and everyone moves back to their own plan. See Team plan.
