Data sources and licences
Where TabledHQ's information comes from and the licences that let us use it.
Everything in TabledHQ comes from official, openly licensed public sources. We link every item back to the original so you can check it. The full list, with live freshness and counts, is on the Sources page.
UK Parliament
Bills and their stages, Hansard debates, written questions and statements, Commons and Lords votes, committee inquiries and evidence, statutory instruments, early day motions, treaties, the What's On calendar and member details come from UK Parliament's open data.
Contains Parliamentary information licensed under the Open Parliament Licence v3.0.
We use text only for MPs and peers: we don't fetch or show photographs.
UK government and legislation
GOV.UK consultations, consultation outcomes, policy papers, news, guidance and impact assessments, plus new legislation from legislation.gov.uk, are used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Parliament petitions are also published under the Open Government Licence.
Devolved legislatures
- Scottish Parliament: questions, motions and votes, under the Scottish Parliament Copyright Licence.
- Northern Ireland Assembly: questions and plenary business, under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
- Senedd Cymru: business and meetings, under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
What we keep about each item
For every record we store where it came from, its address on the source website, when we fetched it and which licence applies. We don't store personal details of petition creators or people who submit evidence to committees.
Independence
TabledHQ is independent. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by UK Parliament, the Scottish Parliament, the Northern Ireland Assembly, the Senedd or HM Government.
