How up to date the information is

How often TabledHQ checks its sources, how quickly new items reach your dashboard and emails, and how to check freshness yourself.

TabledHQ collects records from official public sources on a regular schedule. It isn't a live feed, so there is always a short gap between something being published and it appearing here.

How often sources are checked

  • Most sources are checked about every hour.
  • Some larger or slower feeds, such as the parliamentary calendar and statutory instruments, are checked every few hours.
  • If a source is down or slow, we try again on the next check.

The Sources page shows each source, when it was last updated and how many records we hold.

From source to your inbox

  1. We fetch new and changed records from the source.
  2. We match them against your topics and the bills, MPs and peers you follow.
  3. New matches show on your dashboard straight away.
  4. On Individual or Team, they go into your next hourly alert or your digest, depending on your settings.

So a new item usually reaches your dashboard within a couple of hours of the source publishing it, and your email after that.

The official record comes first

Every item links to the original. If something is time-sensitive, such as a consultation deadline or a vote, check the official source before you act. If a record looks missing or late, see why a record is missing or late.
