Billing and cancelling

How you pay

Individual and Team are paid plans billed monthly by card. Each plan renews on the same date each month until you cancel. The Individual plan includes a 7-day free trial and the Team plan a 7-day free trial, with no card required. Adding a card during either trial ends it and your first payment is taken straight away. Your monthly billing date starts that day.

The Individual plan costs £9.99 a month, or £6.99 a month while its founding offer is available. The Team plan costs £39 a month for 7 seats, or £29 a month while its founding offer is available.

The Free plan does not send digest or alert emails.

You can see your plan, next renewal date and the card on file (only the type and last four digits) in Billing. Receipts for each payment are listed there too.

Paid plans open at launch. Until then, no real card payments are taken.

Cancelling

1. Go to Billing.
2. Press Cancel subscription.

It takes one step: there is no notice period, cancellation fee or form to fill in. We confirm by email straight away.

• Within 14 days of a payment: you get a full refund of that payment to the card you paid with, within 14 days. This counts from each payment, the first one or any monthly renewal. Paid access ends straight away and you move to the Free plan.
• More than 14 days after your latest payment: you keep the paid plan until the end of the month you have already paid for, then move to the Free plan. There is no refund for the rest of that month. If you think you should have a pro rata refund, ask us through the contact form and we'll look at it: pro rata refunds after 14 days are only given on request. If you change your mind before then, press Resume subscription and nothing changes, including a founding price.

This is the same on the Individual and Team plans: a full automatic refund within 14 days of a payment; after that, cancelling stops the plan at the end of the month you've paid for with no refund, and a pro rata refund only on request through support.

This does not affect your legal rights.

What happens to your topics and follows

Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Anything over the Free plan limits is paused and comes back if you subscribe again. If you would rather remove everything, see deleting your account.

Send us a message and include the date of the payment. Please do not include card numbers.
